Only beautiful
people wouldn’t be realistic. Also the way I look was chosen by you. You knew, before
I appeared, that this valley is strange. The unconscious is much more powerful
then you think and reflects archetypical images. You felt something supernatural, non understandable and not
to explain from your empirical science. At the moment you saw me you knew that
I’m a messenger and you placed me in charge of who are responsible for the
valley. That’s how I became an old man, as old as you can imagine: the
archetype of the wise or wizard. You
gave me Merlin’s shape as you see him. It comforts and gives a safe
feeling, but it also shows that you are a romantic.
- Our
projection on humans doesn’t make a difference to us. We stay who we are:
Nymphs. It doesn’t touch our core and I’m aware how strange this is for you. For
people looks is important what among others is proven by the effort you take. Fashion
became an art form and the pharmaceutical industry is an important pillar of
your economy. Beautiful is equivalent for good and ugly for bad why plastic
surgery is used by so many.
- Even if you
do care looks less than average, it affects you as well. As a human you can’t think outside humanity. Not
like a Nymph who doesn’t care about looks because it’s no part of us, and that
is why you took the freedom, unconscious however, to let the Nymph who served
us appear as a beautiful exiting woman. Don’t forget that you are already
hiking for weeks and that in the mean time your age in combination with your
manhood needs a woman, even if it doesn’t manifest as long as there is no
inducement. As soon as you had the opportunity it happened’; the elderly laughs.
Alleen mooie mensen zou niet realistisch zijn. Ook
míjn uiterlijk werd door jou bepaald. Jij wist, voordat ik verscheen, dat dit
dal vreemd is. Het onderbewuste is veel krachtiger dan je denkt en reflecteert
in archetypische beelden. Je voelde iets bovennatuurlijks, onbevattelijk
en niet te verklaren vanuit jullie empirische wetenschap. Op het moment dat jij
mij zag wist je dat ik een boodschapper ben en plaatste mij aan het
hoofd van zij die voor dit dal verantwoordelijk zijn. Zo werd ik een oude man,
zo oud als jij hem kunt voorstellen: het archetype van de wijze of magiër. Je
gaf mij de gedaante van Merlijn zoals jij hem ziet. Het stelt gerust en geeft
een veilig gevoel, maar het toont ook dat je romantisch bent.
- Onze projectie op de mens maakt voor onszelf
geen verschil. Wij blijven wie we zijn: Nymphen. Het raakt niet aan onze kern
en ik ben me bewust dat dit vreemd voor jou is. Mensen tillen zwaar aan
uiterlijk wat ondermeer blijkt uit de moeite die jullie ervoor doen. Mode werd
tot kunstvorm en de farmaceutische industrie is een belangrijke peiler van
jullie economie. Mooi is equivalent voor goed en lelijk voor slecht waarom de
plastische chirurgie zoveel opgang maakt.
- Al laat jij je aan uiterlijk minder gelegen
liggen dan gemiddeld, het gaat niet aan jou voorbij. Als mens kun je niet
buiten het menszijn denken. Niet zoals een Nymph die zich niet om uiterlijk
bekommert omdat het geen deel van ons is, en daarom nam je de vrijheid,
onbewust weliswaar, om de Nymph die ons bediende als mooie opwindende vrouw te
laten verschijnen.
- Vergeet niet dat je al wekenlang rondtrekt en je
leeftijd in combinatie met je mannelijkheid inmiddels behoefte heeft aan een
vrouw, al manifesteert het zich niet zolang er geen aanleiding is. Zodra je in
de gelegenheid was gebeurde het ook’; lacht de grijsaard.
