Zeus pets his beard cogitating. ‘What do you want to do about it?’ he asks suspicious.

- ‘I only can answer that after I’m there.’

I can make you reach the sixth, not higher.’ Tork looks at Diana biding. ‘Free traveling Gods are not allowed to go higher,’ the patriarch declares. ‘You have to pass the guard and they have strict orders. No-one knows, but we believe because the old Celtic and German Gods are rising. They control the sixth, assisted by ancient Nature Gods. You are right to believe that something is going on. The Gods of the seventh are still almighty, their total of followers seems to be enormous and therefore unthreatened, but the numbers don’t match. It looks like if Yahweh is the ruler as God of the West, while Allah knows that he outnumbers him in real followers. Yet his position is uncertain as well. It doesn’t seem like it, but more and more people turn their back at the major tendencies and search for the Ancient, mainly obscure Gods who are less well known. Mystery attracts people; disgust against the material what stands as a symbol for the tendentious Gods. In name they are often still Christian or Muslim, because this tendency concerns Hinduism and Buddhism less, but in truth they believe something completely different. This reassessment, unknown in human history, is cause of a fear-psychosis on the seventh. Mainly because it’s new and uncontrollable, because in numbers the Ancient Ones don’t represent that many and together they don’t even have as many followers as one single God on the seventh.’

Zeus strijkt peinzend door zijn baard. ‘Wat wil je daaraan doen?’ vraagt hij achterdochtig.

- ‘Daar kan ik pas op antwoorden als ik er ben.’

- ‘Dat is het probleem; dat lukt niet! Ik kan ervoor zorgen dat je het zesde bereikt, niet hoger.’ Tork kijkt afwachtend naar Diana. ‘Vrij reizende Goden mogen niet verder,’ verklaart de patriarch. ‘Je moet voorbij de wacht en zij hebben strikte orders. Niemand weet het, maar wij denken omdat de oude Keltische en Germaanse Goden in opmars zijn. Zij beheersen het zesde, bijgestaan door oude Natuurgoden. Je hebt gelijk wanneer je beweert dat er iets aan de hand is. De Goden van het zevende zijn nog altijd oppermachtig, hun totale aanhang lijkt enorm en daarom onbedreigd, maar de aantallen kloppen niet. In naam is Jahweh heerser als God van het Westen, terwijl Allah weet dat hij hem in waarachtige aanhang overtreft. Toch is ook zijn positie wankel. Al lijkt het niet, maar steeds meer mensen keren de grote stromingen de rug toe en zoeken de Ouden, vooral obscure Goden welke minder bekend zijn. Het mysterie trekt mensen aan. Weerzin tegen het materiële waarvoor de toonaangevende Goden symbool staan. In naam zijn zij vaak nog christen of moslim, want deze tendens geldt minder voor het hindoeïsme en boeddhisme, maar in werkelijkheid geloven ze iets helemaal anders. Deze herwaardering, ongekend in de menselijke geschiedenis, zorgt voor een angstpsychose op het zevende. Juist omdat het nieuw en onbeheersbaar is, want in aantallen stellen de Ouden niet veel voor en komen gezamenlijk niet in de buurt van één enkele God op het zevende.
