Winter on Mount Saint Peter

For the first time in 5 years I had a conversation in Spanish, when I met an elderly chap on my back from the hills. He politely asked me if understood Spanish, and I carefully answered him: a little bit, but it went better then I hoped for after all those years. That's not a bit, he responded; you speak it very well. Mucho gracias señor!
